Samsung is no stranger to true wireless earphones having had their first run with the Gear IconX in 2016, long before there were even rumours about Apple’s AirPods. This year end, the new Samsung Gear IconX 2018 ($199.99) true wireless earbuds gets an upgrade in the form of lengthier battery life and voice command via Bixby or Google Voice.
The Gear IconX 2018 connects to compatible Android and iOS devices and streams music via Bluetooth. Users can also store up to 1000 songs and play them directly with the touch sensors on the ear phones. And when you want to hear what’s going on around you, simply activate the ambient sound setting.
So far so smart.
Samsung Gear IconX 2018 features:
- True wireless earphones with ambient sound setting
- 4 GB built in storage
- Accelerometer, IR, touch sensors
- Track speed, distance, and calories burned via Samsung Health.
