Garmin Singapore just announced an attractive trade in offer for those of you who are thinking of getting a Garmin wearable!
From 12th March 2020 – 12th April 2020, enjoy up to $300* off when you trade in any watch. The trade in credit will count towards the purchase of a Garmin Fenix 6 series or Garmin Venu smartwatch. I lifted this table directly off Garmin Singapore’s website. So, it seems damaged devices are accepted as well.
A Garmin Venu smartwatch currently retails at $589 SGD currently and with this discount, you can get it for $439 SGD. This is steal considering the US pricing ranges between $349-399 USD.
The Fenix 6X Sapphire retails for $1329 SGD and you can get it for $1029 SGD through this trade in. For comparison sake, the retail price in USD for the same watch is $849.99 USD. You do the math.
Garmin Singapore maintains an online shop over at Lazada but you can only get this trade in deal by making the purchase at Garmin’s local retailers. Or you can head down to head down to my favourite local wearable shop Morning Star Watch Repair or Service Centre. The young proprietor James knows his stuff, is helpful, and enthusiastic about fitness wearables.
I genuinely appreciate what Garmin Singapore is doing. A trade in program promotes upgrade and reduces wastage; assuming Garmin Singapore properly manages and disposes of the trade in wearables. Would have been even better had the trade-in credits count towards the Forerunner/Vivoactive series as well. But #respect nevertheless.
